Zack Salinas, 15, and Elyse Underwood, 14, both from Grand Rapids, swing dance in the Corum Student Union on Wednesday, March 2.  Vocal students from Cornerstone University sang classic songs from the 1940's; students and community were invited to listen and dance.

This is shot with a shallow depth of field, minimizing the amount of movement in the photo and isolating the subjects from the background. 

This  is shot with a deep depth of field, allowing the shutter speed to slow down and capture the movement of the dancers.
