Cornerstone sophomores Chelsey Sweeney and Alyssa Dijkers (left to right) sit in one of four classrooms in Daverman Hall on April 6, 2011 painting their own TOMS shoes. Sweeney and Dijkers both found out about the event from CUSG's student activity calendar that was passed out to dorm rooms earlier this spring semester. The event was coordinated jointly by Cornerstone Student Activities and a business class on campus. Dijkers and Sweeney also said that Cornerstone Student Activities also made use of facebook to network and invite more students and that served as a reminder as well.
